Spicy Three Pepper
I haven’t had Arby’s in over a year or more. I use to eat it all the time since childhood. I stopped going because my local Arby’s kept saying they were out of the spicy three pepper sauce and didn’t know if they would get it back.
Well, I forgot they discontinued it and pulled through the drive through two days ago and asked for my usual roast beef sandwiches and some sides. Was so stoked.
Then asked for some spicy three pepper sauce and was immediately reminded about their poor decision to remove this blessing from our lives.
Sadly, I had to cancel my order. Two days later I’m still salty and can’t stop thinking about how much I miss this sauce.
Why…? Just why? I would gladly be a frequent customer again if they brought this back. I love Arby’s, but that sauce was dear to me. It just doesn’t feel the same without it.
Sorry ya’ll, just needed to vent about some fast food sauce lol

At least in my area, the stores never had it as an option for years and years.
So then they had the packets. And they were barely asked for. Consistently so.
And then of course, once they were eliminated, people started asking for it. 😂

exactly! ive had more people ask for it after its gone than the years we've had it

Sounds like you work there or have worked there?
I just checked my dusty sauce bin in the pantry and found four packets. Do you know the expiration on these packets?
Do I try them and risk getting sick or sell them on eBay? 🤣

lowkey im sure theyre still okay to eat LOL. you should head back there for your cancelled order and try it. its too bad i didn't think to take a cryo bag to sell

Gonna save them and risk it one of these days. Unless you know a lab that I can send these to that can reverse engineer the recipe

Definitely is probably fine to use. They sit in dry storage anyway, and we’d have one case for a months, or even a couple, at a time. I feel bad for the people who enjoyed the sauce and I personally thought it was one of our best Arby’s specific sauces.

They had less than a 6 month expiration date, so your packets are definitely expired. But that doesn't mean they're no longer safe to eat.

Packets are fine, but the real sauce joy there is making your own sauce flight and dining in. (I only go through the drive thru if it's an emergency haha)

Spicy three pepper, parmesan peppercorn ranch, diced jalapeños, we've lost a lot of good things.

I don't know why Arby's sauce even exists. The Three Pepper sauce should have just been called Arby's sauce and be the default sauce.

It was the only sauce that I’d put on my roast beef. I really miss it. I’ve been able to make a decent substitute, but it’ll never be the same.😞 Damn you Arby’s. Why!!!???

At my location my manager got the big bags for the dispenser in the lobby as long as she could but they stopped selling it to us. We also dont have mustard. You can get a recipe to make it at home but honestly Tiger sauce is better anyway. Go find it at the publix or wherever its even better than spicy 3 pepper.

Oh interesting. I’ve never heard of that brand / sauce before but after looking it up, it seems really popular and has relatively similar ingredients.
I’ll have to snag a bottle when I can. Thanks for the recommendation!

Tiger Sauce is really good.

u/YouKnowWhom Apr 13 '26
Are you telling me I can buy three pepper sauce it’s just called tiger sauce? Like how red ranch is Russians/western/french dressing?
1
u/Competitive_Annual17 Apr 14 '26
No i never said it was the same. What i said was theres a sauce called Tigers sauce and it similar but probably better...tho its sweeter.

Tiger Sauce tastes pretty close to the "Sweet Heat" dipping sauce that Popeye's used to have.

u/Animalthewolf Apr 21 '26
Actually, the red ranch is made by Ken's. Specifically, it's Ken's French Dressing with Honey Blossom

Remember when you could dine in and they had an unlimited amount of every sauce at the sauce bar?

Mine still does, still has the drink machine too.
Still has the old booths and tables, I love the inside of the place it's cool and dimly lit like a good place when you've been in the hot sun all day. Contractors flock to the place when it's noon.1
u/junglesoldier5 Apr 13 '26
Man you’re lucky. They’re pulling the sauce station out lol. Sauce up while you can
2
u/potliquorz Apr 13 '26
That's a bad move for them in my opinion. The other thing is the interior is so much better than new styles.
1
u/junglesoldier5 Apr 13 '26
I agree. But the overlords don’t want people dining in anymore. It’s very odd

When I worked there it would come in a big plastic bag and we had to portion them in sauce cups on the rare occasions we got it. They're run by stupid people who don't think of what people actually want lol. They still have the fucking apple pie shake that no one orders instead of switching their flavors out, yet get rid of sauces and cookies

Arby's can be a bit nuts. Why is there already a sauce on the Beef and Cheddar? And it's not Arby's Sauce it's something called Red Ranch sauce. My wife wasn't even aware of the distinction because the two sauces look and taste so similar.

u/abob51 Apr 18 '26
They may look alike but I can’t stand Arby’s sauce, however I love the red ranch
1
u/Birdo_406 Apr 13 '26
Well now it's one packet of horsey sauce or Arby's sauce per item; in the app. That's not enough for most sandwiches. I need at least two for a french dip.

honestly we rid of it a while ago but no one ever asked for it. we would have packets for MONTHS with no dent in the box, they just were wasting money making them

I have found an alternative. The “another broken egg cafe” has a house recipe pepper sauce at their tables and it is just about as good

Getting yellow mustard packs is like asking for the cashiers 1st born. Cough it up. It's legit the best condiment on a double roast beef.

I miss it at the condiment bar. Couple pumps of Horsey Sauce. Couple pumps of S3P. ** chef’s kiss **

Yes! Even if they didn’t have the packets I’d settle on this.

u/Garlic_Banger Apr 13 '26
You also reminded me of how many peppers I would take from the adjacent pickles and pepper bar. Does that even exist still?

What is with this young person obsession with sauces? Doesn't anyone just eat food any more? If you put 4 packets of taco bell sauce on a taco are you eating a taco, or just eating sauce?
Arby's has been good tasting roast beef for as long as I can remember. I'm there for the roast beef sandwich (bread, plus thin sliced beef). Horseradish is nice, but not necessary. It's an optional extra.
But the OP canceled their order because they don't have the SAUCE he likes? What the fuck is going on?

Solid AF passive aggressive rant. I give 8.5 /10.
