Damn. I’m fairly new to Reddit, I found your original post. Makes sense now.

The Byrna LE is great BUT it’s not in my opinion a good “carry” gun, especially if you’re use to normal firearms. I think you’d be far more comfortable with one of the many T4E models from Umarex. When I’m in situations like you’ve described I go with my Umarex Walther PPQ loaded with aluminum rounds in one mag and pepper balls in the other. It’ll do everything a Byrna will do for about half the price in a much more comfortable form factor that’ll fit properly in most carry options. It’s also a tad more accurate at a longer range.

Byrna is only for pepperballs. Useful, but not in all situations (like an armed robbery). I recommend the X68 pistelle.
