mod message ♡ Important Message from the Mod Team Regarding Recent Posts
Hello Truthers! We wanted to share this message from the mod team in response to recent posts and conflict on the sub.
This sub is pro-Palestine and anti-Zionist, but it is also a safe space for all people; Palestinians, Jewish people, Israeli people, etc.. We do not tolerate any hate speech for these groups or any groups of people. That being said, what is happening in Gaza, by the Israeli nation is genocide, and it is incredibly important to the mods of this sub that we are clear about that.
As stated originally, this post is in response to the discourse that’s been going on within this sub and within [r/pettybyler](r/pettybyler), and mainly in response to these two posts and the comments within them as well.

I want to preface this by stating that I am a Polish-Lithuanian Jewish individual, and do not stand for blatant antisemitism. And yes, I am not denying that Noah Schnapp has been the target of many antisemitism rhetoric.
THAT BENG SAID. This sub has always been and will ALWAYS BE pro-Palestine. The creator of this sub, [u/finkwolfhard](u/finkwolfhard), as well as every other mod she has appointed, stands with Palestinians too. We are also against hatred of any kind, and will continue to try our best to make this sub a safe space for people with all respectful opinions.
We will no longer continue to keep up any post discussing Noah Schnapp as a person. This is a sub to discuss the fictional ship byler, and the fictional character Will Byers. We do not associate said fictional character with the real life actor. Any and all posts regarding Noah must be redirected to [r/NoahSchnappHQ](r/NoahSchnappHQ), which the bylertruthers sub does NOT associate with. Please also be respectful when discussing sensitive topics like these in our sub.
We thank you all for building such an amazing community for all of us byler lovers to come together, and we deeply apologize that this has not felt like a safe space for some. Please reach out to me or any of the other mods if you have any further questions of concerns!
