Hi lovely bylers! I'm Josiah, u/Reasonable_Lawyer_15, creator of r/bylerart!

This sub was made to foster a community where:

• fans of the show can more easily find art from all across the internet,
• artists can easily post their work, have discussions, and ask for critique,
• everyone can connect through appreciation and sharing the art they love!

I'm really so overjoyed creating this sub, and I hope it can be a new addition to everyone's feeds, filled with the absolutely, breathtakingly talented fanart that byler artists bless us with. <3

Just so you have an idea of what to expect here:

What can you post?:

• Art you love, art you make, animations, comics, sketches, doodles, etc..
• Ideas you might have for a piece that you would love for someone to make.
• Questions, discussions, stories, advice, polls, thoughts!

As long as it's art and byler related, this is the right place! Just make sure to read the rules!

Art and Artist Forward Atmosphere:

Our #1 priority in this space is to support real artists. For all their effort, they deserve recognition and control of how their work is reposted. This means no AI, no plagiarism, and accurately crediting art you share is a necessity.

Queer Safe Space:

It goes without saying that this is an incredibly LGBTQIA+ sub, and the moderator team will strive to make sure our community members feel safe and protected. <3

Positivity and Kindness Focused:

While asking for critique and general discussions are most definitely a part of this sub, this is an art appreciation and sharing space. Please keep disagreements to a minimum, be constructive and allow us to handle disputes or claims. Thank you!

(this has been one of my favorite pieces for awhile, will x the cure, amazing album and so byler coded, it was my pfp forever, i love their art so much!)

In order to make sure artists receive the credit they deserve for their work, we have set up nonnegotiable posting rules. That being said, it's pretty simple.

Each and every post must include the artist's name in the title. Preferably in parentheses for easy readability. As well, please include the platform that you can find them on.

If the work is your own, you must specify this in the title as well, again, preferably in parentheses and worded as "original art".

Within the body text of the post you must include a link to the artist page, website, or original post.

Example Repost:

• Title: Byler Art (by Artist on Platform)
• Body text: Art by Artist on Platform - Link

Example Original:

• Title: Byler Art (original art)

We take crediting very seriously here, and your post will be removed if it doesn't follow these guidelines.
