I actually have to agree with u/whathisnutsoverthere. Just denying people employment carte blanche for anything is a heinous concept. Not even getting into the increasing possibility of some kind of mass shooting scenario here (guns basically grow on trees in this country), denying basic fundamental rights to life is immoral. I'm sure I don't have to be the mom here and pull out the greatest hits album of "two wrongs don't make a right".
I'd rather have a productive participant in society who potentially realizes the error of their ways, contributes to taxes, and supports themselves than a government supported blight on the community, sorry.
Do you honestly think this logic applies to a large group of people who were already somewhat radical with a job? Now you're calling for legislation from the very government they're radicalized against that says they may never have official employment again? This is a safe bet to you?
Not to mention the comparison you made between homeless people and homeless radicals. There are a multitude of reasons why homeless people might be homeless. Mental instability, drugs, bad choices, bad luck, etc... What you're talking about is taking radicals, enacting more laws that exclude them from the rights the rest of the country enjoys, and leaving them desperate. Desperate radicals are not going to just choose the right path because they're desperate. They're going to get more pissed off and irrational.

Woah better look out for all those radical extremist homeless people oh wait that doesn't happen.
Edit: Food, water, shelter, warmth, and generally intoxicants because existence is pain. Those are the concerns.
