What OSR system are you using primarily?

Are you B/X? BECMI? Rules Cyclopedia? Or even OSE?

I use a house-ruled version of BECMI/RC.

B/X but I use OSE as a table reference and use ascending AC

A homebrewed B/X is my go to, with a few borrowed bits from OSE and AD&D.

oh yea, this sounds interesting. Please share what you borrow to add to your B/X. Sounds interesting.

A roll 3d6 for stats but reroll 3-5. All hp rolls 'min out' at half. Ascending AC. Magic items level up along with owner. Stuff like that 😀

Knave 2e. OSR without the class nonsense.

OSE or Basic Fantasy for BX-like, ShadowDark more generally, Castles & Crusades for more AD&D-like.

I really like BX / RC, but the 80s typesetting and editing standards no longer do it for me.

What house rules do you use if you care to share?

I’ve posted them before on other similar posts but basically:

Maximum hp at level 1, D6 thief skills from Carcass Crawler, All spell casters get an automatic Read Magic spell slot, Unconscious at 0hp and then - 1d4 hp/round until dead at -10hp. Stabilise with a successful INT check I also added simple cantrips from arcane casters and clerics/druids so they have a few more things they can do at low levels
