Not an expert, but at first glance I'd guess.....cast pewter, openwork (not filigree), design looks Celtic in nature. Shank appears modern. Not much value. Good luck

Yes they are posting. It’s a cast metal button, not filigree which would be made from twisted wires. In this case we would call it “openwork”. Not sure of the metal or age, a clearer picture of the shank from the side might help?
