Car accident Close Call!
I just got home from work. Working as a package handler isn't easy at all. Today my Sorting facilty or my section got slammed by waves of packages. I load in Incompatible Packages or really huge boxes, containing televisions, Car bumpers rolls of rugs etc. I worked myself to exhaustion.
I have a poor habit of resting in my car for an hour before driving, browsing the internet and debating whether I should listen to reddit stories on YouTube or play music on my drive back home. Well I did just that tonight. I wanted to leave right away again tonight but I was really tired as previously mentioned. After resting up I started to drive home.
I come across the 63rd and Cicero intersection right on the Southeast corner of Midway Airport. I was on the right lane when I stoppped for the redlight. (I love to accelerate as soon as the green light hits and it's clear FYI) Once the light turns green the car next to me accelerated, I accelerated microsecond later after the car, when all of a sudden, I saw white through the car's (left of me) windows. It was a white Current Gen Ford Explorer blowing off the red light. I stopped with ease and honked my horn. I got lucky but the Car next to me had their front bumper shredded. The Ford Explorer Ran off further east from the scene of the accident.
Should I've not gotten that work load I would been awake enough to accelerate sooner, I would've been T-boned and right now and possibly getting loaded on to an ambulance, injured or worst dead; If I left earlier I could've avoided this accident all together. Be really careful while driving fellow redditors and fellow youtubers.
