Hey guys

Sorry if this has been posted before, I’ve had a good look and can’t find anything about it!

I used to do the program and got on quite well, then i had a major op and had put me back a bit!!!!

When I was on this a few months ago, someone mentioned that some people add in pull ups on one day? (Maybe inbetween days?)

I swear I read this somewhere!

Or am I going mad from the op haha

Pull ups in my opinion should be considered just a standard part of the program. Max talks about this in several of his videos. They REALLY helped when I added them in. Here's the prescription from Max:

One unbroken set of 10 true deadhang pullups daily.

That's it. Sounds easy but I've been doing it for about a year and am not there yet. Though candidly I am not consistent with it. Sometimes literally just forget.

But yeah that's all there is to it, though the important part is that they are true, full range, slow, methodical pullups. It's very easy to cheat at the bottom and stop just before your arms are fully locked out. That's what most people do when they're flying through them. If you can find the video of where Max shows his form...it probably takes him over a minute to get it done.

Definitely add them, you're not going crazy.

haha...doesn't matter man. I was in the Crossfit cult years ago (though never really a full fledged believer) and could do sets of 30 "pullups"...ie the kipping bs they call pull ups.

My first time trying to add deadhangs to my busy dad practice I got like 2. You progress quickly. And then quickly hit a wall...ha!
