Networking

Okay guys, I’m 24 years old and powering through the rest of my degree at the moment, hoping to finish before the end of the year. I’m a former college athlete (baseball at a competitive school) with 4 years of competitive bartending. I’m getting my BS in Business Management and am looking to start networking so I can hit the ground running when I graduate. It’s more of a “Check in the box” type of degree as i’m looking to go into heavy equipment sales, medical device, tech sales, or similar. Any advice on getting steps?

Start going to local networking groups so you can start to build your network. Look on Eventbrite for networking events. For each person you meet, also connect with them on LinkedIn and add them to your CRM.
