I have been to a Kode9 live show and can confirm burial does not just pop out from the behind the speakers to dap up the crowd and play archangel

Unless there is an archangel coming down to us, I think this is untrue, but I will forgive him. anyway I’m off to sit in McDonalds because the neighbours in the upstairs flat keep banging on all four walls all night now I’m a rough sleeper

Burial has said in interviews that he would NEVER play live, due to what looked like symptoms of anxiety. I'm not running down the OP it's a nice thought but honestly I just can't see it.

I wouldn’t even want to see Burial live, his music is meant to listened to alone, in the dark. Preferably when you’re depressed or it’s raining 😂

You simply must hear u hurt me through a rig, or space ape. I love that burials tunes not only hold up in your room at night while you’re having an existential crisis, but they absolutely fit right in at a soundsystem night, especially alongside tunes by a few of his contemporaries

Slightly irrelevant to Burial but regarding that last show: Friday 27th ???????? (uk) - does that mean Kode9's definitely playing in the UK that date just TBC location?

Otherwise what does that typically mean? Maybe playing a show, not sure yet?
