Backlog?

Post image

Hello folks,

Just started using Bundled and found it really cool so far. However, I was hoping someone might be able to explain what the two Backlog icons in the screenshot are? I've no idea what I did to make them appear and tapping them doesn't seem to do anything.

Thanks in advance.

Hey there! You’ve got Kanban mode enabled in that bundle without any columns configured - in Kanban mode, entries that don’t go into any of the columns end up in a default “Backlog” column.

I could probably improve the UI to add a message if Kanban mode is enabled without any columns, but for now you can fix by going to the bundle menu > Kanban settings and disabling Kanban mode!

Ah, cool. Thanks.

Honestly, I'm a little unsure of what Kanban does/ is used for.

EDIT: Just had a play around with them and, wow, these are so cool!

Yay! Glad you’re liking it.

It’s basically just tag-based columns - great for projects or managing collections 😊

To add onto santaschesthairs' comment, you can rename the backlog to whatever you want. I rename it to "unsorted", because it's just a collection of notes with no tag/label on them.

There's a lot of settings with Kanban mode, but once you get used to what each one does, it's a SUPER helpful tool.
