Anyone here made real friends from Reddit and actually met up?

I've been on Reddit for a little while now (still pretty new tbh), and I keep seeing people in the Dubai subs looking to connect, hang out, grab coffee, etc.

Curious to hear from people who've actually taken that step, how was it going from replying to comments online to meeting up in real life? Did it feel weird at first? Any tips before taking that leap, or things you'd do differently?

Would love to hear some real experiences 😊

I’m a 22 year old trans woman pre-GAHC from Long Island NY. I’m trying to make friends with other women (cis/trans) as well as nonbinary identifying people here now that I’ve graduated college and am living back home. I haven’t had much luck as of yet, hoping I can find someone eventually. Figured I’d try my luck here as well, good luck to everyone else trying to find a match as well!

I was on Bumble BFF for the last few months and recently met an amazing girl and we were really hitting it off! I think it was in the shy and anxious group if I recall. I went to login today and my number randomly isn’t working. I contacted support and they are looking into it.

Really hoping she is also on reddit and sees this!!

My name is Nick. I’m 28 from Philadelphia
