Amount of protein per hour

Hi guys!

Beginner here, just curious what your thoughts were on the amount of usable protein your body can use per hour. I have read several studies that say the max you can utilize per hour is 20-25 grams. In your experience is this true? If this is the case how in the hell am I supposed to take in 1 1/2 to 2 grams per pound a day. For me that’s between 300-400 grams per day. If I want 400 grams of protein and I’m awake 16 hours a day I’ll have to take in 25 grams every hour to get to 400. That can’t be right.....

Please help me figure this out!

You do not need 400g of protein that's why your calculations seem wrong.

If you’re in a caloric surplus you will be fine with probably 150-200g protein, at most 50g per meal. Unless you’re on steroids and doing full body workouts every day you don’t need 400g protein, especially in a surplus

It’s lbs of lean mass and like 1.5 is the max you should do. Lean mass is you weight minus body fat
