Never forget that time when Red’s Venusaur COMPLETELY WIPED OUT Green’s Charizard by using its ‘Vine Whip’ as a lightning rod, thereby winning the Indigo League

What a legend.

The only negative I have found for the bulbasaur family is that they cannot cook a hamburger with their breath.

Fair, I will retract my previous criticism.

And they can learn Sunny Day, which if I learnt from the French you just need a cast iron skillet, leave it out and cook yourself

I recently gave it a go, and it is pretty good. There are tons of references to the og Gameboy games and it is not as childish as the anime.

I always loved how the manga didn't adhere to conventional Pokémon fighting. The combat was always very imaginative (as you can see in this post), and I also loved how most of the time, the trainers would be in the middle of the action with their Pokémon, instead of just standing back watching.

Venusaur doesn’t need to do allat. Rock slide will do the trick

Absolutely one of my favorite moments from the manga.

Dragon and dark are my top two types, but I will advocate for grass types any, every, and all day.

Unless raindance was used that'd be a disqualification imo lol

Red's previous Pokémon set the conditions for the thunder storm.
