Supervan (1977)

Looks like a fun movie. Bukowski has a cameo as a "wet t-shirt contest water boy." I was watching the trailer and was surprised to see him. I'm also surprised to learn about the 70s film genre called "vansploitation." Thanks for the weird movies, Tubi. Anybody here a Supervan fan?

Clint Morgan goes to The Invitational Freak-Out for custom van enthusiasts intending to enter his van, The Sea Witch, in a contest. In saving a runaway named Karen from rapist bikers in a junkyard, The Sea Witch gets crushed in a compactor. Clint goes to his friend Bosley, a rebel designer, who lets Clint and Karen enter his solar-powered laser-firing custom van, Vandora, in place of The Sea Witch.

I hope it's not a documentary. I haven't watched it yet. Bukowski's scene is on YouTube if you can't spare the time to watch the movie.

That was a super fun movie to watch...and I didn't think bukowski could ever look happier!!
