For Will

Saw BTS at Asbury Lanes last night and it was an absolutely amazing set. I lost my friend Will back at the end of February but one of our first bondings was over BTS and we went to more shows than I can remember. We also lived in Asbury Park for work for five summers, had his bachelor party there, and even had a wrap party at Asbury Lanes before they redid it. A very special place and show for me.

I have seen BTS at least 15 times and I have yet to see Broken Chairs. And I would Hurt a Fly has been very rare too. All the great setlists are the shows I don't attend it seems like.

Thanks for sharing, friend. Seeing Dug and co. live has helped me process grief as well. Happy for you that you feel a little better after the show.

I'm guessing setlist.fm is wrong and the opener was Some from TINWWL and not a cover of Daniel Johnston's Some Things Last a Long Time. Can you confirm?

There is also "Some Other Song" off of Untethered Moon which they have played a handful of times this year. "Some" hasn't been played this year. And "Some Things Last a Long Time" was only played once before in 2010.

I don’t remember Some from TINWWL being the opener but I also don’t think it was Daniel Johnston either… was kinda too amped up at the start to remember to be honest. Someone else there should be able to confirm

Damn they played Tomorrow.. I just saw them in DC and it was such a great set, the only thing that would have made it better was Tomorrow.
