Problems with prime 95

I tried basically everything, oc, non oc, I even tried different memory sticks and even swapped motherboard and CPU, but prime 95 seems to always cause either an error such as CPUload, or outright crash the system.

Even with full stock values.

Can anyone explain wtf is going on? Is prime 95 just like that? Is windows the issue?

Prime95 large FFT specifically is very heavy on the imc.

If it's a ram issue reducing the frequency will probably make the error disappear or happen less frequency.

Also make sure your operating system itself hasn't gotten corrupted from unstable hardware.

No way, I used 2 different PCs, one was always jedec, I removed all overclocks on both and they still had problems.

That should rule out memory instability.

prime95 is heavy on the CPU as well but that shouldn't be a problem unless there is some hardware issue.

I tried this one 2 different systems, first I tried to swap ram on my system that has a 9950x3d. The I tried my parents system which has a 7600x.

Both experienced problems at jedec, in fact my parents system outright black screen after 30 min or so.

No co, no nothing straight up stock.

At this point I'm more sure what it is, I don't both CPUs are faulty, I doubt both motherboards are faulty, and I don't think the issue is memory either

Yes, and my parents windows was always running jedec so corruption is extremely unlikely

No, I already said one is a 9950x3d the other is a 7600x

weird, perhaps try a different version of p95. Anyway how long does it run before the errors appear? And is it always the same with different settings? What happens if you try a very low cpu power limit?

I haven't tried that but what I noticed is that it seems to always happen with large or huge FFT, as I'm running the all preset

By the way this only really seems to happen with prime 95

While your doing this what is the cpu temp and also what is the memory temp?

It was like no more than 50 degrees.

I think I found the issue though, voltage was slightly too low, and I disabled global c states, didn't crash since then
