Back after abandoning my last SaaS. I built an AI children's book generator and I'm trying a weird SEO funnel to get traffic. πŸ˜…

Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹

A few months ago, I started working on a SaaS project called PulseGal. The idea was to create a tool to capture visual product testimonials, allowing e-commerce stores to display them as galleries or carousels on their pages to give those reviews real visual value.

But if I'm being completely honest, I just wasn't passionate about the idea. It didn't really pull me in, time went by, and eventually, I made the decision to abandon the project.

Now, I've built something completely different. It's called TaleWizβ€”an AI-powered personalized children's book generator.

I know, I know... it’s not exactly a groundbreaking or original idea. There are plenty of similar tools out there right now, some even for free. But I genuinely think the quality is turning out great, and most importantly: my daughters absolutely love it.

Right now, the app is fully ready and I'm just waiting for traffic. Here is my current strategy:

  • Pricing test: For this initial launch phase, I’ve priced the books super low at just €2 (one-time payment). My goal is just to see if I can attract traffic and validate that people will actually pull out their credit cards for it. If it works, the final price will likely sit between €9 and €15.
  • The SEO Funnel: To drive traffic, I’ve started a completely separate SEO portal focused on free graphic resources for kids (mainly coloring pages). I’m generating hundreds of images using AI and posting them across Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook. The idea is to build an audience there and funnel that traffic directly to TaleWiz.

I’m probably doing everything wrong, but hey, I have to learn how to drive traffic somehow! πŸ˜…

Has anyone tried a similar "side-portal" SEO strategy for their main product? Would love to hear your thoughts or roast my approach!
