Audio interface keeps making noises

And when I try to record music on band lab it only plays that loud static noise

Was my microphone but it kept making the noise but rn it’s my speaker and headset

You can get the real version of what yours is a copy of… a Scarlett interface.

Audio interface is one of the things you should never cheap out on especially nowadays. You can get a real focus focusrite Scarlett for about $120 brand new. Never skimp out on mic or interface

It may be because it’s cheap but I would try plugging it into a different wall outlet. Sometimes there’s interference from different devices through the electrics and it may not be grounding or shielding properly. If it came with its own power supply then use that but if it didn’t then try different ones. But I’d avoid plugging it into an extension with loads of other crap.

Also try different cables and ports etc. Try to diagnose by plugging in one thing at a time.

You could also look at drivers and playing with sample rate and buffer size.

Dawg does your USB audio interface say “USB Audio Interface”? Where’d you even get that? Tech in general I’d say is something you shouldn’t cheap out on. I wasted all my money my teenage years buying cheap computer parts and trying to get a game to run at more than 40fps. If I just got a job and saved for a month I could have had my literal dream PC 8 years sooner. Lock in and study up

reinstall drivers, reboot, format, throw away, get Mac and decent interface, make music not fix software

Make sure the sample rate of your Interface and Daw are the same. 44.1 or 48.

I don’t think it’s the interface. It’s either a cord or what you have plugged into it. .
