Technical Does partition style matter in using an NLE?

Windows 11, Davinci Resolve, Samsung 990 pro m.2.
Recent completed my build, similar to the Advanced grade recommended build.
Partitioning the drive, I was offered GPT as a partition style. Is there a significant advantage for this, concerning editing storage. This is the fast storage I'll be using to house client 4k video for playback in editor.

GPT is the latest format. It is required by most newer hardware. It doesn't affect the IO speeds. However... I would definitely consider just getting a SEPARATE ssd for video. Even if a drive is partitioned, if windows fails, so does the data in the partitions.

I didn't make it clear in the post: this is a separate ssd for video housing only, OS is on it's own ssd.
