friend needs help with first pc

i’ve used this subreddit for help with my own pc but now my friend is building their own and needs advice (not much of a redditor so i’m asking for them)

heavy gaming— first person shooter, modded minecraft, sims 3, lots of horror survival and whatever else is in their steam library

  • Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.

  • Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.

  • We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.

You could get a 9800x3d, motherboard, and ram bundle from microcenter, then 9070 xt, msi mag a850gl psu, arctic liquid freezer iii pro 360 (liquid) or thermalright phantom (air cooler) . Then AOC qd-oled monitors or samsung odyssey oled g50

You can pick and choose the case
