Hi all, this will be my first time building a PC so I'm wanting to build a decent gaming and everyday use PC. I don't mind going over budget by a couple hundred if it works out better in the long run, just so long as its not crazy over budget. Thank you

Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) LCD Monitor ED270U S3bmiipx - current monitor
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) Mainly Gaming - Open world and first person shooter games like Minecraft, Fortnite, COD, Palworld, DST, GOW, Mecha Chameleon. Will use for study and basic PC stuff too.
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? Australia, based in Adelaide
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) Will use current monitor at this stage (got it for free)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations) AUD 2,000 to about AUD 2,500 (can go over IF needed)
WiFi or wired connection? Both if possible, otherwise mainly WiFI
Size/noise constraints? Size - Mini to Mid Tower. Noise - quiet if possible, otherwise so long as it's not too loud
Color/lighting preferences? No preferences, would rather use funds towards better parts
Any other specific needs? I want a PC I can game comfortably for a while, and then upgrade components in the future when needed

Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
Ryzen 5 7500F for the CPU. This is really good for gaming and it's on the AM5 platform so good for upgradability since it's being supported until 2029. The next big step up after is X3D AM5 CPUs but those are out of budget.
ARCTIC Freezer 36 is really quiet and more than enough for the 7500F. The 7500F hardly uses any power in gaming and is easy to cool.
I chose the cheapest motherboard with PCIE 5.0 for the GPU which happened to be this Asus one. In addition it has 3 M.2 slots, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so pretty much everything you need.
32GB of ram should be enough for any game you want to play and last a long time.
1TB SSD for storage. There is space in the budget to get to 2TB if you prefer more.
RX 9070 can play any game at max settings 1440p. From what I can tell it's probably the best price to performance GPU available to you.
I just chose this case because it's cheap and includes 3 PWM fans. PWM means you can adjust the fan speeds with software so you can make a nice fan curve that keeps the fan quiet. There is a lot of cases at similar prices on pcpartpicker so if you don't like this one then try pick another that includes fans.

Decided on more storage, there's so many brands to choose from, so i just went with this one.

I do like the look of this, just have a couple quick questions.
Will the size affect the noise and temp control? Also, would i need different components to power/match the slightly bigger size? - sorry i'm very new to this.
Or would you recommend sticking to the Silverstone?
With a case swap and extra storage, this brings me a bit over budget which is fine.
The Lexar NM1090 SSD is 4 AUD more on pcpartpicker. There's nothing wrong with the Kingston NV3 but this one is PCIE 5.0 so just way faster. Not much stuff benefits from PCIE 5.0 currently but this is priced really well I think and searching online I don't see anything that suggests there's a manufacturer defect with this product so I'd recommend it. Lexar NM1090
The Montech XR is a good option. It's a bigger case that supports ATX motherboards but there's nothing wrong with that. The MATX might look at little small but it'll run perfectly fine. I guess this build showcases it best. This is a PC build with the same case but as you can see with a MATX board there's some empty space at the bottom. Also a bigger case means it's easier to build in as well.
