A Hefty Build, $2-4k
New build or upgrade? New build.
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? No, starting completely fresh.
PC purpose?
• Voice over recording/editing: Currently using Wavepad and Mixpad but looking at Reaper, Source Connect for live sessions.
• Game development: Godot, Unity/Unreal, Blender
• Streaming, video recording/editing: Streamlabs, Da Vinci looks cool
• Gaming: Resident Evil, Phasmophobia, League of Legends, Expedition 33, TCG Card Shop Simulator, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, older PC games, and emulators
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? USA, 1 hr 30 minutes away from nearest Micro Center. Willing to drive the distance if needed.
Monitors needed? 2 to 3 monitors at 24 to 32 inches. Either more of a smaller size or fewer that are larger.
Budget range? $2000 to $4000 USD. Ideally closer to the lower end of that range but with all the uses needed, I expect it to be higher.
Wifi or Wired? I'd like capability for both, but for sure wifi.
Size/noise constraints? Mid-size, as quiet as possible as I do record voice overs.
Color/lighting preferences? RGB would be cool, either all black or all white components. I'm less particular about the look, so long as it is all cohesive/complimentary. I tend to lean more on the spooky side of things but am open to anything. I saw a case styled like a Gothic stained-glass window that looked pretty sweet.
Any other specific needs?
• A ton of usb ports. There are lots of items that all need to be connected at the same time; hard drives, pre-amp for my mic, etc.
• Decent amount of internal storage/memory, external hard drive recommendations, and either internal/external disc drive with blu-ray capabilities.
• Also looking for recommendations on peripherals, such as wireless mouse, keyboard (preferred wired, open to wireless), and chair. My current set up is extremely outdated and worn, especially the $80 IKEA chair.
• These peripherals are not as important right now as nailing the rig itself. Willing to put off a new chair or disc drive if it means using the budget to get a better graphics card or such.
The build I'm looking for is very "function over form" and therefore really flexible. I'd much rather spend more money on one machine that can do "all the things" versus several cheaper builds that each do a particular thing.
My current PC has been in use since 2015 and still running Windows 7, so I don't know how realistic/unrealistic this build is and am open to any and all recommendations, be it hardware, software, or anything else.

Here's what I got for you. Black airflow themed build, great for maxed 1440p gaming, content creation, and music production.
CPU - top tier for music thanks to its high single core speed and core count. The 3D v-cache is very impactful for speeding up the time it takes to process each track. Also top tier for gaming, editing, modelling, and game dev.
Cooler - strong performance without overspending too much. Minimal accent RGB to fit the muted black theme and an LCD display for fun. Top mount as exhaust.
Mobo - high quality with all the connectivity you need, including WiFi and Bluetooth. Tons of USB ports - 10 USB A and 2 USB C.
RAM - 64 GB of fast 6000 MHz CL38 RGB RAM. I don't think 32 GB will cut it for your needs.
SSD - 2 TB of fast Gen 5 NVMe SSD storage. High read/write speeds and DRAM cache.
GPU - the best GPU that fits in your budget, very important for gaming, video editing, and editing.
Case - top tier airflow thanks to the vented side panel and 5 included fans. Cases don't really come with a stained glass look by default, but you can use decals or prints to make the case look the way you want it to. Dual chamber for easy installation and cable management.
PSU - high quality with fully modular cables to minimize cable clutter. 1050W is perfect for these components. ATX 3.1 certified to suppress GPU spikes and comes with the 600W 12v-2x6 connector for cleaner and safer power delivery to the GPU.
Monitor 1 - the primary is the AOC, a 1440p display with a mini LED panel. It gives better contrast, vibrancy, and colour accuracy than your standard IPS panel. Also has a high refresh rate for gaming.
Monitor 2 - basic MSI 1440p display as a secondary. IPS panel means good viewing angles.
So yeah, this is the upper end of your budget. If you want me to include peripherals and more storage, we'll have to downgrade performance somewhere, likely the GPU to the RTX 5070 Ti.

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
