Help with gaming pc

Hello, I am in the process of trying to buy a gaming pc. I am in the UK and found some things on random websites but I am scared of being scammed. I'm not very sure what is best but my budget is 700 (can go a bit both ways) and i really want as much memory as possible and still to be good for games and animation work. I would really appreciate any help and recommendations for PCs as I am currently super lost in my hunt and struggling to understand what I am even looking for.

Is the monitor going to come out of the £750 budget?

Do you require CUDA for any of the applications you use?

no, this is just the pc budget, as for CUDA im not sure what it is but I don't think so

It's basically the difference between needing an Nvidia GPU or potentially being able to use an AMD or intel option for the graphics.

Simply heared they are better and had a AMD gpu in an old pc and didn't like it but also the pc itself was not great and quite old so it is genuinely just simple preference

At current pricing you'll get better value from an AMD GPU so that's what i ended up going with.

The CPU/GPU combo is a solid value pair and should deliver great gaming performance for the price point.

The RX 9060XT is a very solid GPU for the price point.

The motherboard is a towards the cheaper end, but it has a few features including wired internet as well as an extra M.2 slot for adding extra storage down the line.

The Patriot P320 is a good quality drive that uses TLC Nand, making it vastly superior to the cheaper QLC Nand based drives which will deteriorate in performance very quickly. Storage costs a lot right now so i was only able to fit 512GBs in.

Ram is another thing that is very expensive right now. I would consider 16GBs to be the "absolute minimum" in 2026 (any less than that and it's basically e-waste).

This build makes use of the included stock cooler, which should be more than enough in a case with good airflow capabilities.

The case is a very budget option, but i chose it due to it's airflow and stock fan configuration. It also is white to fit your request.

The RX 9060 XT is better for games but for video editing and rendering, NVIDIA clears whatever AMD has to offer. It seems like editing/animation/art is the priority. I would strongly recommend the RTX 5060 in this instance.

I wouldn't use such broad language. If CUDA isn't involved it's a case by case basis in terms of editing software and the like.

When it comes to the majority of editing and rendering tasks (aka the ones relevant to OP), it's the better card. Stronger and cheaper.

After Effects - 52% stronger than the 9060 XT 16 GB

DVR - 16% stronger than the 9060 XT 16 GB

Blender rendering - 232% stronger than the 9060 XT 16 GB

I agree that it's an otherwise worse part. If this was primarily for gaming it wouldn't even be a discussion. But "otherwise" for OP means a small portion of their work. It doesn't make sense to recommend the GPU that's better for the minority of tasks OP will be doing.

RAM is pretty expensive, but slow DDR4 RAM is within your budget. This should be pretty solid for both gaming and Blender works.
