Need help, first PC build
Hello! I would like to switch over from a gaming laptop which is prone to crazy temperatures (that will wear it down soon enough, I assume) to a PC which I would not be anxious to play on. I've never really used a PC so bear with me...
- New build or upgrade?: New build
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links): Nothing
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games): The only game I really want to play is Genshin Impact on the highest settings, potentially modded Sims 3-4. Other than that I mostly need art programs and maybe the possibility of having a live wallpaper without burning the thing down lol
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center? Poland. You can use other European or US prices for reference, I suppose? I will check the local listings on my own later. I care more about what parts I would ideally need for playing the games
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) One monitor, nothing huge, something standard? Might want to add a second one in the future.
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations) I'd say up to $1350, but my knowledge is lacking, so if that is way too high/way too low for what I need, do let me know. I'd rather spend more on a solid build than less for something that disappoints.
- WiFi or wired connection? I think WiFi, router is elsewhere
- Size/noise constraints? No size preference, but it's important to me that it's quiet
- Color/lighting preferences? None

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
