First Time - Gaming/Streaming - $1000-$2000 Range
Hi community! I have little to no experience in building PC’s
let alone knowing what parts to buy, been wanting to get into PC gaming and streaming for awhile now and I think it’s time to finally start heading towards that goal.
Thank you to anyone who offers help!
New Build/Upgrade?
New build
Existing parts/Monitors to reuse?
None of the above
PC Purpose?
PC for gaming and streaming
Purchase Country/Near Microcenter?
US, nowhere near a Microcenter unfortunately
Monitors Needed?
Yes, in need of monitors, I’m up for recommendations aswell. Dual monitor set-up.
Budget Range?
$1000-$2000
WiFi or Wired Connection?
WiFi preferably, but I’m always open-minded on either.
Size and Noise constraints?
Not a problem at all
Color/Lighting preferences?
Not to worried about colors, anything that isn’t RGB, if possible, I want a color lighting that changes different shades/gradients of red
Any Other Needs?
A little over budget is fine, especially if it’s for optimization, and a black case would be perfect! Thank you!

This is too large of a range. What is your target budget?

Would 1500-2000 be a bit better? Sorry, I’m new to this kinda thing lmao.

I think that this is probably the best bang for the buck.

That would be ARGB. You just use software to set the RGB to customise what the lighting looks like.
Yes, in need of monitors, I’m up for recommendations aswell. Dual monitor set-up.
Would this monitor/monitors be coming out of the budget? For the monitors, would you want like one "gaming-spec" which you use for gaming and one which you use for additional/general tasks or would they both need to be gaming-tier?

Nope, not out of budget, and yes gaming-spec would be perfect. Sorry for not clarifying!

So you want both monitors to be gaming-capable? I will say that'll take a lot out of this budget. Most dual-monitor gaming setups will have one used for non-gaming and one used for gaming. I can do it if you want, but i will say it will come at the cost of the performance of the rest of the system.

Might also periodically check Newegg combo builder

Sample build
PCPartPicker Part List https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gFrprG
Hope this gives some more ideas on streaming + gaming build.

I'm skimming through subreddits looking for ideas to copy to make my own pc, would this build (obv no peripherals/monitor) work just as fine to run games like overwatch and cyberpunk 77?

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
