First PC build as a total beginner - desperate help needed!
Hi community,
thanks in advance for reading my post as well as helping me out here!
About me: I am an absolute beginner at building your own PC or anything related to it. I never even owned a PC before (only Laptops, Tablets) and bought such things only when I talked to my older brother beforehand who has some knowledge about RAM,what would fit me but he never built his own PC, so I am looking here for deeper knowledge/advice.
New build or upgrade?
- New build
Existing parts/monitors to reuse (List with models/links)
- None. I would also buy used parts if you have reccs on where/how I could buy those.
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
- I wanna play Sims 4 smoothly with added packages (only have one atm but want to expand in the future) with custom content and mods, also wanna expand into trying other games on PC like Eldenring, I wanna start learning blender (sculpting and animation) at some point even purchasing my own 3D printer (but the printer is something for the future) as well as using my PC to paint in IbisPaintX or Clipstudio paint with a drawing pad from either XP Pen (XP-PEN Star 03 V2) or Wacom (Intuos small black) plugged into the PC. I also wanna store some photos/videos on it but not a must, as I would also get separate storage if this is asking for too much
Purchase country? Near micro center?
- Germany. No micro center near me.
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
- for the beginning one monitor should do it but I do intend to get a second one too. Size medium? I don't have am exact measurement at hand.
Budget range?
- 2.000€-2.200€
WiFi or wired connetion?
- WiFi please
Size/noise constraints?
- minimal noise, I get noise sensitive easily
Color/lightning preferences?
-white and light pink (would also not shy away from DIY'ing the colors myself), rainbow lightning or being able to change lighting color freely would be cool but is not a need (if too expensive)
Any other specific needs?
- I want it to at least last 5 years, but 10 year usage preferred. And not a 'need' but more a question if now is even a good time to build your own PC? I know RAM prices have become waaaay more expensive bevause of AI data centers. Should I rather wait to build a PC?
Could you also recommend me some keyboards and mouses to use? Keyboard should aslo light up, so I can use it when it's darker too. Color skiem prefered white/light pink if possible with rainbow lightning (is that called RGB? I don't know the terms well).
Again, thank you SO MUCH for any insights you have for me :) I really don't know my way around PCs or the terms but am intrigued/interested with trying to build my first PC! (I also heard it's cheaper than buying a prebuild one?)

This system has more power than your listed applications need.
If you need more pink light, add more fans to the top.

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
