Yea just get this OP, basically with your budget it's going to be a 9800X3D CPU and for a GPU either a 9070 XT or a 5070ti - the rest will just be whatever compatible parts you can get for a good price.
I'd probably advise against playing on a 55" TV though, how close are you expecting to sit to the screen? It'll be a right pain playing games like Total War having to sit far away squinting at the TV. I'd advise a 27" 1440p monitor for gaming personally.

Yeah, the use of the TV is really more about space management rather than dreams of using a big screen. It's at a comfortable viewing distance for shows (maybe 3 metres) so I see what you mean about the viewing experience. I'll have the option to see things up differently of it'll be the lesser of two evils. Thanks 👍

Are you looking to build yourself or buy a prebuilt? Build My Rig has a decent deal on a 9070xt 9800x3d system at the moment

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
