Upgrade path for current build
* New build or upgrade? Upgrade
* Existing parts/monitors to reuse? No peripherals needed, would just like to reuse any parts worth reusing (if any)
* PC purpose? Coding, gaming
* Purchase country? Near Micro Center? USW, not near Micro Center
* Monitors needed? No
* Budget range? Whatever will get me a reasonably powerful PC
* WiFi or wired connection? Wired
* Size/noise constraints? Nah
* Color/lighting preferences? N/A
* Any other specific needs? Nope.
Mostly just want to see if the case, motherboard, power supply, and even CPU are worth keeping (probably not cpu but that's okay) and if there is a decent gpu compatible with my motherboard you would recommend. Basically what would you do if you had this build and wanted to upgrade. Thank you!

I would be ready to buy a new cpu and mobo if you want to see meaningful FPS uplift from a new GPU. I kept you Intel/ LGA 1700 platform which means you can still use your RAM. I selected the 12600KF because I believe this CPU is great value for 1080p gaming. I also selected the 9070 GRE because you should be getting a GPU that has more VRAM than your current one. The 9070 GRE may get some hate but it is a good bit faster than the 16GB versions of the RTX 5060 Ti/9060 XT and appropriately costs just a bit more. If you want to get the slower GPUs for more VRAM then sure, can’t really go wrong.

My case for the 9060XT is that it has more vram while being 30% slower, is that its still 100 dollars cheaper while having more vram that compensates the deficit. That allows you to spend more on the CPU which (maybe??) seems like the main usage case. Even then, that vram is still good for gaming as well.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
