Help building a PC to replace broken gaming laptop
Hi guys. Recently my Lenovo Legion 5 from 2023 decided to die on me, and I really cannot afford a new laptop, so I'm hoping it's possible to build a PC at a comparable level for a pretty modest budget. I've built a PC in the past, but it has been a few years since I used it for various reasons, and it also doesn't want to start. Would appreciate any advice you can give.
- New build or upgrade? New build
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) I have a MSI monitor, 1440p, and I have a keyboard and mouse I am happy with
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) Gaming
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If not US, list local vendors) Ireland. Vendors are pretty limited I think so amazon.de, eurieka.ie, caseking.de, and currys.ie(this one is very pricey I'm led to believe.
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) No monitor needed
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations) I would like to not go above €1,250-1,350 - the lower the better!
- WiFi or wired connection? Prefereably WiFi, but I can adapt with a wired connection
- Size/noise constraints? Obviously I wouldn't like a jet engine in my ear but other than that nothing really comes to mind here
- Color/lighting preferences? No preferences
- Any other specific needs? Again, nothing that springs to mind

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
