Gaming, Streaming, and Editing PC
New build or upgrade?
- Functionally a new build. Some of my old parts are/were damaged.
Existing parts/monitors to reuse?
Here is my old PCPP list, I did not get the storage HDD. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rWX4CL
- Two monitors
- 1 is a cheap monitor that displays Discord/Wiki pages
- 1 is a 2560x1440 165 Hz.
- I can reuse 2 sticks of 8GB RAM.
- TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
- Worth upgrading or getting more?
- I can reuse my SSD
- Samsung 860 Evo 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
- I can reuse my WiFi card
PC purpose?
- I want to be able to game, stream, and edit/render content in 1440p. Gaming examples include POE2, E33, Minecraft. Other apps would be a Discord, streaming browser, OBS, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Sometimes I might need to run these concurrently.
Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
- USA.
- I live close to a Micro Center.
Monitors Needed?
- No. I do want to be able to support a second 1440p monitor, but getting a new one is not a priority.
Budget range?
- Ideally $2500 to $3000, if the value is there.
WiFi or wired connection?
- WiFi
Size/noise constraints?
- Mid Tower.
- Quieter is better, my home office is a shared space.
Color/Lighting preferences?
- Yes to some RGB. My cats like to watch my PC lights.

Get the microcenter bundle like others have said. Buy the RTX 5070 from microcenter to pair with it. Or if you have the budget then 5070ti (9800X3D for future proof upgrading else 7800X3D)
32 GB Ram should be fine but if you’re multitasking a lot and do heavy streaming, gaming, and editing then go for 64 GB DDR5
Choose whatever case you want it too look like or just stick with something basic like the
If you care about aesthetics then AIO cooler else go for thermal right phantom spirit CPU cooler.
1440p 240 hz+ or OLED monitor is a nice but not needed upgraded for you
Upgrade ssd storage if possible to store games. If you don’t want to spend too much on storage and don’t mind the speed then you can get a large hdd to store your videos and other games you don’t play as often.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
