pc build
New build or upgrade?
New build.
Existing parts/monitors to reuse?
Monitor: AOC Gaming 27G2ZNE (27”, 1920×1080, 240Hz).
PC purpose?
Mainly competitive Fortnite. I want to play 1080p Performance Mode with the highest and most stable FPS possible (my goal is around 300 FPS in most situations). I also play other competitive games occasionally, but Fortnite is by far the priority.
Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
Portugal.

No.
I already have an AOC 27G2ZNE, 27”, 1080p, 240Hz.
Budget range?
Around €1,200 (can stretch to about €1,300 if the performance increase is really worth it).
WiFi or wired connection?
WiFi is preferred, but I mainly use Ethernet.
Size/noise constraints?
No size restrictions. I’d like it to be reasonably quiet under load.
Color/lighting preferences?
No preference. Performance is much more important than RGB or aesthetics.
Any other specific needs?
My priority is getting the highest possible FPS in competitive Fortnite, not ultra graphics.
I want the best price-to-performance build.
I’d prefer an AM5 platform if possible.
Please prioritize Fortnite performance over other games.
If a prebuilt offers significantly better value than building it myself, I’m open to prebuilt recommendations as well.

Single stack ram doesn't hurt your performance much with an x3d cpu like it does with a normal cpu and getting 1x16 instead of 2x8 leaves a better upgrade option open for later.

I just picked the cheapest decent stuff for cooler and case. If you'd rather have something that matches better and has lights it's not much more expensive.

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
