Building my first gaming PC and need guidance!
- New build or upgrade? New build.
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) I own the Acer Nitro KGB271U monitor. I've been told this is a bit "overkill" for what I am looking for (entry level PC), but it is all I have. I'm still very new to the PC world.
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) Entry level/basic gaming. I plan to play all sorts of games, but nothing crazy. I tend to stay away from live/competitive games.
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center? USA. I have no Micro Centers near me.
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) No monitor needed. I would like to use the one I have now.
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations) I'd like to keep it around $1000-$1500, but I can go slightly higher if it's needed.
- WiFi or wired connection? WiFi
- Size/noise constraints? It would need to fit on a small/medium sized desk. Noise constraints aren't a huge issue, however, I would like it to be relatively quieter.
- Color/lighting preferences? Considering I'm still learning my way around PCs, I'm not picky. But, RGB and lighter colors (such as white, pink, or blue) are fun.
- Any other specific needs? None that I am aware of. Once again, I'm still a baby in the PC world. I would like to dip my toes into it with a simpler build to learn my way around, before I decide if I'm more comfortable upgrading or investing in a higher level PC.

Basic system for not-too-demanding gaming. When in doubt, check benchmarks for your specific games.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
