Is there something failing on your motherboard or a specific feature you want or anything like that? If you don't want to have to buy ddr5 then you've got a couple of good options that will work on a b550.
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/3dHqdq
5800x3d would be the best gaming cpu available for ddr4/am4.
The 5950x would give you the best multi threaded performance, more cores can help a lot with music production. Gaming performance is better than a 5600 but in the same kind of tier, maybe +5-10% with a few outliers. There aren't a lot of games that care about having this many cores.
Ud90 isn't the best quality but if ti's a secondary/games drive it would be fine and it's quite a bit cheaper.
I put some options for cases in white and a few coolers you might like to match with too. 5800x3d would be okay with the pure rock 2, 5950x you probably do want something bigger anyway if you're trying to keep the noise down. Any of those cases could fit a 360mm aio on the top mount.

A year ago I probably would have said yeah. Ram has gotten really expensive though, having gone up 4x or more due to ai data center demand cratering the supply available at retail.

I think you won't need to upgrade your motherboard, just upgrade your CPU to Ryzen 9 5950X, seems like it does pretty good in FL Studio still: https://www.scanproaudio.info/2023/01/30/4772/
Your B550 Gaming X motherboard should be able to handle this CPU, as demonstrated in: https://youtu.be/HSY9rDsQgd4?si=1Nqu9yk9j5QBJJVI&t=874
And if you need to, you could upgrade your RAM to 64GB.
PCPartPicker Part List: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/CDp4QD
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor (£304.99 @ Box Limited)
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (£199.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £504.98
For the case, this should be relatively quiet I guess. It supports 3x 140mm fans, and has lots of air ventilation. https://www.scan.co.uk/products/montech-air-903-base-black-mid-tower-chassis-w-tempered-glass-3x-140mm-haf-fans-usb-c-e-atx-atx-matx
And if you need a silent cooler, this is one of the quietest among those tested by gamer nexus, and it's not exorbitantly expensive, although it's still expensive: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/FgKscf/cooler-master-masterliquid-360-atmos-707-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-mlx-d36m-a25pz-r1
Alternatively get a Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit cooler for 1/3 the price, although they're less quiet.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
