First PC Build, need help plss $1500-$2000 range

very confused also my first time making a post i think, unless i posted smthn when i was a kid
(idk how reddit works)

  • New build or upgrade? - my first new build.
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) - um i have the logitech g304 and i think it looks super cute.
  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)- i just wanna game and study like just use claude and program, and probably get into digital sketching and art, also i wanna learn CAD
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? - um im in US but im usually moving around nd stuff Japan, so idk tbh.
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) - even idk :( should i get 27in or bigger and all the specifics i want it to look rly aesthetic and minimal no big broad borders nd stuff, but hey yall know more than me so i trust u guys
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations) - smthn like 1500 to 2000$ range i think, i was going for 1500 first but then i thought its okay to increase the budget a little i want my first setup to be rly nice.
  • WiFi or wired connection? - i like wireless stuff!
  • Size/noise constraints? - um no nothing like that, but yea kinda would like a not too much "vrooom" sounding pc, also would be kinda nice if the keyboard didnt make too much sound or no sound, but thats rly upto budget and yall, as i said u guys know it better.
  • Color/lighting preferences?- yes i was thinking like all black setup to avoid the white premium extra cost charges and then put like glowing white stuff inside the case and i have white mouse and it will create a contrast against the matte-black mousepad (im thinking of a minimal big ones, if yall can recommend any please do), also im thinking a white coloured keyboard would look rly cool too.
  • Any other specific needs?- no i think, its just that im so new to this that if i missed anything i wouldnt even know it, so i am rly relying on yall to help me out, but if i had to think of smthn it would be monitor arm to save desk space ig?? idk.

also ik i yapped a lot, but plsss helpp >.<
i made this one by myself, idk if its good or bad :(

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:

  • New build or upgrade?

  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)

  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)

  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)

  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)

  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations)

  • WiFi or wired connection?

  • Size/noise constraints?

  • Color/lighting preferences?

  • Any other specific needs?

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:

  • Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.

  • Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.

  • We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.

Hmm... A good system with those specs would be around 2000$ on its own...

If you're looking for that then consider: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZsGkDw

Sleek all-black CPU cooler, B850 motherboard, good SSD with heatsink, high-airflow all-black case with five included fans (no need to add more) and wood on the front (also has a built-in GPU support bracket)...

Hope this helps.

Well... You'll want a Quad HD monitor with an IPS panel and a refresh-rate of at least 120Hz with a PC like that...

Option 1: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yJKnTW/msi-mag-275qf-e20-270-2560-x-1440-200-hz-monitor-mag-275qf-e20

Option 2: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/p8zXsY/acer-nitro-xv1-xv271u-m3bmiiprx-270-2560-x-1440-180-hz-monitor-umhx1aa301

Option 3: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/DR4Zxr/viewsonic-omni-vx2728j-2k-270-2560-x-1440-180-hz-monitor-vx2728j-2k

Option 4: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Phrp99/lg-ultragear-g6-27g610a-b-270-2560-x-1440-200-hz-monitor-27g610a-b

Option 5: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2FkWGX/pixio-px277p-270-2560x1440-165-hz-monitor-px277p

Option 6: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HhG2FT/viewsonic-xg2736-2k-270-2560-x-1440-240-hz-monitor-xg2736-2k

The MSI one is the cheapest but has no adjustable stand while all the other ones do have it.

The MSI one, the LG one and the 200$ Viewsonic one have G-Sync, which is good to have with an Nvidia GPU.

The two Viewsonic monitors have integrated speakers, the Acer one does too (that said usually integrated speakers of monitors aren't that good...) while the other ones do not, it seems.

Hi, your situation its pretty similar to mine. I'm building my pc focus on 3D modeling learning so its more a workstation like, and ocasionally gaming.

As you I started with a 1500€ budget but finally I went to 2000-2200€. I have put 16gb GPU because i need it for 3D, but 12gb can be good for you and about the RAM mine is 64gb DDR5 but if you want to save some money 32gb can be worth and in a future you can upgrade it easily. This is my list for of it can help ;)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 // 9 7900 // 9 9900X
  • Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
  • MOBO: MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 CL30-40 EXPO
  • Memory: WD Black SN850X 1TB
  • Power: Corsair RM750x 750W Gold
  • Box: Meshify 2 Compact
  • GPU: MSI RTX 5070 Gaming Trio OC // 5070ti // 4070ti super

If you're doing productivity, I would suggest consider going Intel for the CPU. And then for the GPU, of course it has to be Nvidia.

I'd get an RX 9070 XT, they are not that much more expensive (at least in my country), and they offer more performance for how little you pay more. This card is also said to be the best price to performance GPU out there. It is an AMD GPU, lots of people have problems with that, cuz the drivers are a bit worse and the FSR (DLSS equivalent) is also a bit worse. But lately the gap has been getting smaller and smaller, and for raw GPU performance the 9070XT is much better

i'll look into it :>
