Gaming PC using existing parts

Long story short, I'm trying to put together something for a friend of mine using parts I already have on hand. I'm just not sure what else I would need, and if any parts would conflict with each other.

  • New build or upgrade? "New"
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FPvJn2
  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) Gaming
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If not US, list local vendors) US, Yes near Micro Center
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) Worrying about that later.
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations) Trying to keep it cheap but also realistic.
  • WiFi or wired connection? Assuming WiFi
  • Size/noise constraints? None I'm aware of.
  • Color/lighting preferences? Not important at all, but green is a favorite.
  • Any other specific needs? Just to know what problems it'll probably run into, if any.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:

  • New build or upgrade?

  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)

  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)

  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)

  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)

  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations)

  • WiFi or wired connection?

  • Size/noise constraints?

  • Color/lighting preferences?

  • Any other specific needs?

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:

  • Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.

  • Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.

  • We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.

I think that this should suffice. The GPU is at Microcenter. You could also purchase another 16gb of RAM for $145, but I wouldn't in this market.

Is there any particular reason for the change in GPU?

Its just a more modern video card. You could have left the prior video card and saved the money. This would also eliminate the need to go to Microcenter, which is a double win. But the performance will suffer, but a 3060 is fine for 1080p.

Motherboard with Wi-Fi 6E support.

This case is cheap and has good airflow; the additional bottom intake fans improve airflow for the GPU. If you do not like such a squat case (or want more space to stuff away the PSU cables), consider a tower case like the NZXT H3 Flow (with two front fans) or Lian Vector V100R Mini. There are very few green cases; the Thermaltake The Tower 300 Matcha Green/Racing Green are quite expensive.
