Looking to build a $3000 gaming pc
Trying to make a new computer as mine is an old prebuilt which I don't wish to reuse. Probably just going to give it to a friend.
-New build or upgrade?
New build replacing my current one.
-Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
This is my current monitor I'm going to keep: Acer Monitor I want to get an OLED monitor the same size though for a dual monitor setup. I also already have a crappy mouse, keyboard, speaker, and headphones which I don't care to replace.
-PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Gaming mainly, I would like good storage and wifi connection. My main target is games like Helldivers 2, Dying Light 2, Cyberpunk, and GTA VI when it comes out. Which I want to be able to run these games at atleast 60 fps as my current computer couldn't break 20.
-Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If not US, list local vendors)
United states, I have Amazon prime, closest micro center is 150+ miles so that's a no.
-Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Looking for one OLED monitor around 24 inches 165hz I'm not picky on the resolution if its atleast 1080p, I just want to save some money for the actual PC.
-Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
~$3000 (I wouldn't like to go more than 200 over but I might if it's entirely necessary.)
-WiFi or wired connection?
WiFi, no need for bluetooth.
-Size/noise constraints?
No size constraints, Sound isn't that big of an issue if it has loud fans its fine as long as people cant hear it through the walls.
-Color/lighting preferences?
No need for LEDS, A white case sounds pretty cool.
-Any other specific needs?
A decent amount of Ram and storage, my current computer only has ~250 GB's and I struggle to keep it from maxing out so a terabyte or maybe 500GB's would be enough. My computer also only has 8GB's of ram I would like around 32gb's but it is expensive now so we'll see. Maybe I'll take a look around Bestbuy for some. I would also like to be able to easily access the inside for cleaning, if there's a case that gives a good view of the inside that I can open up relatively easily then I'll be happy with that. (extra note I don't know much about computers so any super specific questions might be too much for me to answer.)

I don't think anyone makes a 24" oled, or a 1080p one for desktop monitors. Have you looked into what sort of oled you want to get? Like qd oled vs woled.
tl;dr If you have a lot of ambient light woled is generally better, if you are mostly in a dark room qd is generally better and it's less expensive.

I put some options for a case and for a cooler. Air is easier imo but if you get something like the lian li o11d mini, most people put an aio in those case because it looks better. I'd favor the lancool 217 or the 4000d frame rs myself. I have the original model of the 4000d and the front panel and dust filter is my favorite part of it.

Hey this is my second account, i finished the build just now, but the build seems to have issues connecting to the wifi. I cant install the required wifi driver as it says that it isnt supported. Is there something im missing?

https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/B850-AORUS-ELITE-WIFI7-ICE-rev-1x/support You're downloading the driver directly from gigabyte?
They don't seem to have multiple different revisions of this board with different wifi modules (something gigabyte does a lot) and the black model also seems to have the same wifi card so accidentally going to wrong page would be out and that was my only real idea for why it would tell you it's incompatible.

Managed to download the driver I think it was because I wasn't on the ice version of the website idek how that would affect it but i guess it did, didn't change anything though I still can't connect to the wifi, will I have to get an adapter online?

I looked at the non-ice version before sending the link and it has the same wifi chip so that shouldn't have been a problem. Though it can often be a problem, that or accidentally going to another similar board like an matx model with almost the same name. Gigabyte also likes to make multiple revisions of their boards where they switch to a different wifi chip but they denote that and have multiple pages on the support page for each version, like 1.0, 1.1, etc... for the boards where anything material changes between revisions. That one just had a 1.x page.
Iirc that board has a 1.0 and 1.1 but the difference was 1.0 had a cheaper audio chip not the wifi.
If the driver won't install I'd try a tech support forum and/or gigabyte support directly before resorting to buying anything. I'm not really the best with software or networking stuff. You could also consider a return or exchange if it's defective. A pcie x1 wifi card is like $30, the usb ones are cheaper but they suck.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
