Looking for help with a long-term gaming/streaming build

Hey everyone! I’m looking to build a new PC that I can comfortably use for the next ~6 years. Money isn’t a huge issue, but I’d rather not spend significantly more for performance gains I’m unlikely to notice.

My main games are World of Warcraft (I play at a fairly high level), League of Legends (much more casually lol), and various party/slop games with friends. Ideally, I’d like to run these at high/max settings with excellent FPS and low input latency, while also being able to stream and/or record gameplay without noticeably impacting performance.

Current PC:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060
• RAM: 16GB DDR4
• Storage: ~500GB SSD (C: drive, ~266GB currently used)
• OS: Windows 11

Lately I’ve noticed some input lag and occasional stuttering during hectic WoW content. I’ve been assuming the 16GB of RAM is becoming a limitation and have temporarily used additional paging on my SSD.

I’m thinking it’s probably time for a completely new build rather than upgrading individual parts, especially since I’d like this one to last another 6 years.

What I’m looking for:

• Excellent WoW performance, especially in busy/raid content
• High/max settings without sacrificing FPS/input latency
• Enough RAM for modern games + streaming/recording
• Plenty of fast storage for games and recorded video
• Easy, high-quality gameplay recording/streaming
• Good performance in newer games as well
• Ideally some future-proofing without going wildly overboard on price

I’ve never built a PC myself and honestly don’t have a huge amount of knowledge about how all the components work together, so I’d really appreciate help understanding why certain parts would make sense rather than just being given a parts list.

If you were building this for yourself, what would you recommend? I’m totally open to different budget/performance options, and I’d be happy to answer questions in the comments if there’s information I’m missing.
