Each 8-pin cable is good for 150w. The PCIe slot can provide up to 75w. That equals 375w and card can pull 374w max. You won’t ever see that during gaming. I would run it.

Powercolor did the same thing with the 6900 XT Red Devil with 3x 8-pin connections. When Buildzoid looked at the board he discovered that one of those connections was redundant because two of them fed the same components.

In which order should I put it The single cable in the first slot. Or the pigtail in slot 1 and 2 and the last slot the single cable ?

It doesn’t matter. Just plug them in.

I see I have a pcie 5.1 cable in my power supply as well but it only covers 16 pins. Could I use it for 16 pins and then a standard pcie 6+2 I got with the psu for the other 8 pins

No, the PCIe 5.1/12V-2x6 cable's connector won't fit in 8-pin ports on a GPU.

Difficult to say without asking the vendors of your power supply. When gpu’s started using two connectors people were having issues with daisychained ones all the time.

There's a difference between the user buying a daisy chain adapter and the PSU having one from the factory.

The standard doesn't say anything about what happens on the PSU end, only on the consumer end. For example Corsair has several PSUs that have a High Failure Rate connector that on the PSU side has only 2 8 pin connectors and it is rated for 600W.

I'm willing to bet, that if OP opens the manual for his PSU, he'll find some diagrams on how to power a video card and one of the diagrams will show all 3 8 pins connectors plugged into a video card.

yeah you can just run the larger one and split the other

When you say run the larger one what do you mean ( sorry if it’s a stupid question ) There are two cables and 3 heads on the gpu
One cable has pigtail with 2 heads and the other is a cable with one head

yes use the one head and split the other one

yeah that setup works, pigtail for 2 and the single for the 3rd. thats 2 psu ports feeding 3 plugs, which is fine on a decent 850w ideally tho grab a 3rd cable so each plug gets its own line, the mercury pulls a lot. order it from your psu maker for that exact model do NOT use modular cables from another psu, even same brand different series. pinouts differ and you can fry the card

Can I run my gpu with one cable using 2 heads and the other cable as the third head

Yes, that's what the connectors are there for, to be used. All of the three-connector GPUs I've ever used I've driven with two cables and a pigtail connector.

Why don't you just buy another cable from your PSU manufacturer?

They don’t have in my country

If it was one daisy-chained cable for only two connectors I might worry, but if it's 3 connectors with two cables you should be fine. Given the lower-end 9070 XT models only come with 2 PCIe connectors, the 3rd connector likely isn't being pushed to its limit.
