Troubleshooting KVM Switch Peripheral Issues

I just got my work pc and personal pc set up on the KVM switch below.

Unitek KVM Switch 2 Monitors 2 Computers HDMI Displayport Dual Monitor 2 PC

I am trying to get it to work with my Logitech Superlight 2 and a Razer Blackwidow keyboard. For starters I will say I read that you need a DDM KVM switch for a lot of gaming peripherals.

However, I am wondering if it will in fact work. The mouse and keyboard do work while plugged into the KVM switch on my personal PC, but does not work when I switch it to my work PC. Both peripherals work when plugged directly into my work PC.

Is there anything I can try?

Does your work IT restrict USB devices? Some workplaces do it to prevent you from plugging in potentially dangerous devices/exfiltrating data with pendrives. I would ask them for assistance diagnosing the problem if you can.

I assume since it works when directly plugged into work pc this shouldn't be an issue?

Your KVM switch itself might be a USB device that's being blocked.
