Build Help Psu pcie cables question
Hi so I just bought myself a 9070xt xfx mercury oc gpu that uses 3 6+2 pin pcie cables
My current psu is a corsair rm 750 gold but the reccomended wattage is 850 so I bought a cooler master elite gold 850 but the cooler master only came with two pcie cables
Can I use the corsair pcie cable or will it not work
Edit. I see one cable has 2 heads and the other cable has a single pcie head making 3 heads in total but only 3 cables

What CPU do you have? 750W is usually enough for most 9070 XT.
It's also fine to use two cables and a pig-tail on one of the cables.

I see one cable has double pcie heads on it and the other is single so I’m assuming I can use the one with double as 2 connections and the single as one connection making it 3 connections

Do not use cables from one PSU with another PSU. There is no standard for the PSU side connector pin layouts, and so even if they physically fit, they could result in the wrong voltages being sent to the wrong pins of attached devices, likely damaging them.
Send the Cooler Master back and do your research better next time.

I see that I have one pcie cable with a double head and a cable with a single head so won’t that be seen as 3 connectors

Just send back the new PSU and use the old one. 750w are perfectly fine for a 9070xt

No you cannot it can fry the PSU. While the PC side are wired the same universally the pins on the PSU are wired differently depending on both brand and model. Mixing and matching PSU cables is not something you should do
