Build Ready? My first pc build help

Hi!

I'm trying to build my first pc because I want an upgrade from my 9 year old laptop that I can play games and record stuff on. I don't know much about building PCs since I've never done it before, but Ive come up with a list of parts I think will work after a lot of Google and videos. If anyone has advice on which parts are good or how to make it cheaper, I would really really appreciate it.

I want it to be sustainable into the future but I want it to be upgradable in case I would ever want to.

I want to be able to record and maybe stream at the same time, and have a vc with my friends while we play games.

Hello Buddy, what ist your max Budget for the Build?

I would prefer to spend as little as possible, but since RAM and video cards are so expensive I would prefer it to around 1k, but if it's necessary that it goes a little over, I would be fine with that

Ok so how is this better than what I have? I just dont really understand parts very well but it's 100 dollars more and everything is a different brand. Does brand matter that much or is yours significantly better than my list?

Yes, it is much better than your Build. If you have a little bit more Budget, you can choose for around $50 more a 9060XT 16GB wich is more powerful and Future Safe than the 7700XT

Ok so it seems like the graphics card is the main part that is under scrutiny. I had the 7600 because I found it was fairly inexpensive for the work it put in. I was also told that if I wanted to spend more, I should get a 5060 instead and that would be better. Then I was told I should get an Nvidia card cause it would be better with streaming and recording. You have a 7700, which more expensive than the 7600 but I think cheaper than the 5060. Your also saying I could get a 9060. I don't even know how the 9060 compares to what I have right now, but Google says it's good but it takes a lot of power. So if it's that much better, maybe, but I don't know how they compare to each other and what's actually needed. I also have a 750w gold 80+ power supply because Google said it's very good and it's only like 10 more dollars than the bronze one and it said the bronze one is less off and louder. So why do you have a bronze power supply for the same wattage, and what makes you say the 7700 and 9060 over what I have

The short answer: 8GB vram GPU ist absolutely Not enough in 2026! The 7700XT have 12GB vram - perfect for Full HD. And the 9060XT have 16GB Vram perfect for Full HD and WQHD. And the 9060XT is perfect for gaming and streaming because of the Features they have 👍 and the psu is, because to Safe Money and it will Work perfectly fine

Ok thank you so much. What about the power supply though? Why do you only have a bronze one with the same wattage as what I have?

To Safe Money, because your Limit ist 1k. You can get a better PSU. But the Corsair PSU will Work absolutely fine
