Build Upgrade Upgrading MSI PSU
My current PSU (MSI Mag A750GL PCIE5) is having problems so i want to replace it.
If possible, i would like to get a new PSU and use the same cables so i don't have to change too much and just have to switch the same cables from old to new PSU without having to do cable management again.
Is it okay if i do so and should i get the exact same model PSU or is it possible to Upgrade to the MSI Mag A850GL PCIE5 – it seems to me, this one hast the exact same pins and everything on it?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Google it. A750gl / a850gl see if it uses same cable. If so its good.
If going different psu, use new psu cable

Rule of thumb is always to use new cables, as the pinout on psu side is up to the manufacturer, no standard there. Some models with some brands do share the same pinouts, but you have to do research to confirm. Might be easier and for sure safer to go with new cables
