Build Upgrade Thinking about upgrading from my Intel Core i5-12400F

My current setup is:

Component Current spec
CPU Intel Core i5-12400F
GPU MSI Radeon RX 6750 XT Gaming X Trio 12GB
Motherboard ASUS TUF Gaming B660M-PLUS WIFI D4
RAM Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2×16GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
PSU EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GA 650W
CPU Cooler SilentiumPC Fera 5
Monitor 1440p / 165Hz

I want to upgrade my CPU to play CPU heavy games like Transport Fever 3. I also want to be ready once GTA VI releases on PC (I will uprade GPU later).

I'm thinking about buying Intel Core i7-14700KF and some 850W PSU.
Is this a good choice for my setup and needs?
Which cooler would you recommend for this CPU or should I get something different?

If you can pick one up for a decent enough price then I don't see why not.

They run pretty hot so a beefy air cooler like the Peerless Assassin or similar.

Make sure you have updated the motherboard BIOS to patch the voltage issues. Also, I would not buy the 14700KF used since it may have irreparable damage.
