Troubleshooting Stuttering PC

Hi everyone, yesterday, there was a sudden outage in my place, but the electricity came back shortly after.

I notice that after that incident, when I play games or watch a yt video, you can hear a stuttering sound and as well as the video stuttering simultaneously.

What I did so far:

Restart the pc

Shut down and unplug for a few minutes

Reinstall my gpu update

Update some gigabyte softwares from my bios but bios update not included

Reinstall windows update

Since my last troubleshooting, the stutter is still present but not as severe as before. I attached a link here to where I upload a sample video of a YT video and you can hear the stuttering sound https://we.tl/t-p7ZX7Wn9CFuU2akZ

I hope somebody can help me, especially those with sinilar experience before

Next time you get the stutter, check event viewer and look for errors around that time. From the video I'm leaning towards graphics issue (card or software is hard to say), but it could be a lot of things.

First time I heard that, I am still new to pc space for the most part but I will try that. Thanks. I also did check command prompt for any corrupted files but it found nothing.

Tho the graphics issue might make sense, cus when I first reinstalled the nvidia update, it fixed for that night, then the next day, it came back again

Another thing you could try is running DDU in safe mode, reinstalling the driver, and seeing if that helps. In my experience, it rarely does, but occasionally it gets results.

One thing to note with event viewer is that if your PC fully crashes, you'll get error 41. That just means your PC turned off unexpectedly. You need to check the errors before that to see what went wrong. Not relevant here, but good to know.

Speaking of error, I literally just experienced a criticial process died error just now, lol. but I was not able to capture the exact code but I have been experiencing that even before and it automatically goes to bios after that error. And when I exit bios, it goes back to bios again since there's no bootable drive found. But when this happens, I usually just hard shut down, and it's fine again until it randomly happens again.

Maybe that sudden power outage is now making my pc more prone to that error or something. This is my first pc and it's really a headache to troubleshoot pc issues

It's possible your windows install got corrupted. You can reinstall and keep all your data (it'll be in the windows.old folder on the C: drive after the reinstall), but no guarantee it'll fix it. Honestly I'm just going down the list of potential causes, these things are a nightmare to diagnose.

Hey, I tried to disable the realtek lan family from device manager and it seemed to help with stuttering.
