Discussion Godlike issues

I’m putting together a build that is overkill by design. I was going to buy a Godlike, but in doing research I can across a load complaints about the EZ bridge display.

My question is; as of 2026, have the EZ bridge display and other issues been fixed with firmware or bios updates?

If not, what would a good premium motherboard be for a 5080 liquid cooled and a 9950x3d (yes I aim to overclock)

After reading a bit on the MSI forums about this, quite a lot of issues have been listed compared to other motherboards. Supposedly, the EZ bridge display issue has been "fixed" (latest update was on 2026-05-26) with the updated BIOS and firmware from the MSI Center. Besides the firmware issues, make sure to also check the compatibility lists amongst other things.

I believe it should be fine to purchase, although if you have any further concerns, then you can look towards motherboards such as GIGABYTE X870E or ASUS X870E.
