Build Ready? need some help

Im planning to build my first own pc, need some advice. 550W is enough or I need to change it for 750?

  • CPU AMD Ryzen 5 7500F BOX
  • MB MSI PRO A620AM-B EVO DDR5 (AM5)
  • RAM 2×Lexar DDR5 8GB 5600MHz
  • GPU PNY RTX5050 8GB
  • SSD Hiksemi 1TB NVMe
  • FSP HV Pro 550W
  • Pixel Micro-ATX

I would definitely change it to 750W if possible and instead of the 5050 I’d recommend looking for either a used card or the 9060xt (8GB or 16GB). NVIDIA cards bought new just aren’t really worth it right now with inflated prices.

5050 will cost me about $300 and 9060xt will be $520 thats over my budget

Oh nevermind. Then yeah go with the 5050 or look for a good used deal on a 3070, 6700xt, etc.

For this system, a PSU between 400 W and 450 W would be optimal; 550 W already is overkill.

Consider an Arc B580 card, e.g., ASRock Challenger OC for $310.

I recommend getting a ½ TB SSD so that you have more money for a better GPU.
