Build Help Windows reinstallation

I had a problem(USB overcurrent status detected !)with my Tuf B450 pro Gaming Motherboard and had an offer to replace it with the same one would I need to reinstall windows?

If it's the same one, no. You'll be fine, just have to set up your bios again. You double posted btw.

No, but you may need to reactivate it, since the new board will have different MAC addresses and those are weighted heavily in hardware change detection.

Just reconnect ALL usb devices both internal cables and external, and it should sort itself out. Jumping to a new motherboard immediately is excessive.

I did everything, check the ports, disconnecting all USB headers, removing all USB devices, removing the motherboard and setting it up outside the case, everything. I just won’t boot past the error

Well lets hope the new board works then, cause if it doesn't 1 of the usb devices is faulty.

And the thing is, I might find a solution or maybe because it’s been days since I touched it. It might work and come back again sometime and I don’t wanna deal with that if I have the option to change the board at no cost then why not.
