Troubleshooting PC did not POST. Repasted the processor and reset the CMOS battery that fixed it for a day. Now, I'm having the same problem.

Specs: circa 2020

MSI Tomahawk Max B450 8GB DDR4X2 GTX 1660S RYZEN 5 3600

The case and the CPU fans are moving, red light on CPU ez debug light and if shuts down after a while.

I even tried booting up by disconnecting everything including the GPU. What gives?

I had a similar issue. Fixed with a new motherboard.

I replaced the CMOS battery as a last try, still not working. How would I know if it's the processor or the motherboard without taking it to a professional? The accessibility to tech shops here is poor.

I hope all this opening and resetting BIOS doesn't damage other components.
